Hello again,

We are coming up again for our annual camping trip. I've been watching the river flows and the numbers are really low. Is there going to be any water left in 2 weeks? Any idea of the fishing conditions? Thanks for your help.

Yes, upper Kern water flow is down...drastically. However, fishing reports have been good. Look for the deep pool areas. Some trout from the Trophy trout program have been found in freezers at Whispering Pines, Falling Waters and home bound coolers. Seen some nice 5-6# beauties over past 2 weeks. Doesn't mean fishing is fantastic or will hold but it has been worth the travel for most, in recent days. Let us know how you do. Good luck.
