We used to get fishing reports from all over, even Mexico, Alaska and deep sea trips. Willy lets us know what's going on in his area. Our readers enjoy hearing about other fishing areas so we don't push the local only issue.
The only time we start chaffing is when some try to skirt the policy for promotion & profit through our readership and at our expense. And they have tried all kinds of creative ways to do so and then claim we violated their freedom of speech. Other sponsored boards, suppliers & non-contributing businesses (even local) keep pushing the envelope all the time. We are pretty liberal on our boards and we usually know when something just isn't what it appears or is cleverly cloaked.
This new board permits easy editing but we try to avoid editing anyone, like the plague. We think editing is far, far worse than just deleting the post. Unfortunately, sometimes the good goes out with the bad but we try to remain consistent and fair. If you have a really long report, create it with your favorite program, save it, then cut and paste it into your post. That way if a post disappears, for any reason, you can edit and re-post yourself. This board is data base driven and things have been known to glitch on occasion.
You (and any other board member) post your fishing reports and, like Fish On posted, if there's a problem we'll let you know. Thank you all for participating here. Mike
