Lake stocked

The lake is benefiting, big time, from all the hatchery fish that can't be put in the river. If you want some real beauties and action, fish the lake for now. The lower Kern is now off the stocking list along with the Kern between Kernville and Johnsondale Bridge. THANKS DFG.

Thanks' for the stocking report. It sounds like a great oppertunity for people to get some family fishing in without the summer crowds.

Nice to see that the Kern Valley wont be forgotten completely. Off topic: I went to Pleasant Valley Res and the bite was wide open all day. I am sure it has to do with limited waters for all the hatchery fish. Hope Isabella continues to reap the benefits of the lawsuit. I am sure he bass in the lake are loving the trout plants
