Alpers Stocked

If you never fought or tasted an Alper, you're in luck now. Another truckload of famous Alpers trout were recently dumped in Lake Isabella. These tasty, fighting, fish are known to be a favorite of fish lovers everywhere. This load was released into the south section of the lake and are not in holding pens for the derby. If you love the thrill of a fighting trout with an unbelievable flavor, get your gear and hit the lake. A portion of your derby fees were used to purchase the Alpers and more are coming, so make sure you participate in the derby this year. The fee money is used to better fishery in the entire Kern River Valley area.
