[Fishergal]

Great weekend at the Kern! Came up Friday 4/8 and stayed a couple nights. The weather was very COLD!! The river was the highest I had seen in many years (I only come up a couple times a year). However, the fishing was terrific! Hubby and I got limits and then some every day. (catch and release)

Not much in the way of wildflowers which was surprising for such a good rain year. The snow-capped peaks were lovely though.

What's with the river rafters? They came right up to my husband's fishing spot twice, over his line and acted like he was invisible. This was not at a put-in or take-out. Very rude.

ive had the rafters do that to me quite a few times while fishing the pool above big daddy. i once had one jump out of the raft to swim, and he some how ended up with my bait hooked to his life jacket. i now reel up when they come by
