Has anyone been fishing the River lately?

I have not been on the river since early summer. With the weather finnally starting to cool off some the fishing should be getting better. Some freinds and I are planning a backpacking trip on the Kern in a couple weeks and I'll file a report when we get back.

Was up in Kernville over the weekend and the river is slow and low. You can easily iwalk across it at the bridge by the park.
