Which dam is scheduled for the5-6 year makeover
Isabella or the dam above Fairview
How will this affect fishing on the upper Kern?

It is both sides of Isabella Dam. It won't affect upper Kern but, reduced water storage will have some affects on fish habitat in the reservoir. Don't know what affects will be on lower Kern fishing yet. I'm told the flume will be redirected through a "man made cave" so flume fishing will be gone...I assume. They claim that they will minimize the inconvenience of remediation...we'll see.
Real work is supposed to start in late 2015. They have added us to their remediation information distribution. We will post any updates we receive from the Corps.
