Lots of action

Stopped at E&J's Tuesday. Jack had some REALLY nice photos of recent hook ups up river. Said he caught 15 that morning and everyone was doing as well around him. His highlight report this week was a wide variety and happy hookers with a 14-inch brown trout hooked at Limestone. A eleven-inch brookie was hooked above the diversion dam, and a beautiful four and a half pound rainbow was hooked just above Goldledge. You bet we headed for his area upriver and did it proud with a C&R day. The water is a little murky still but the fish can just see the bait and can't see you dropping the hook. Conditions are perfect. He sent a photo of a 8 or 9 year old girl holding a 3 1/2 lb trout she took out of the lake on worms to the Courier for this weeks issue. Life is goooooooooood.

E&Js is located on the Blvd in Wofford Heights. Its the old Bernie Allen store next to the W.H. library in that little plaza where the Wofford Heights post office is. Jack Bustamante and his wife run it and he is out hookin a few hours everyday. You can go in with your catch and he ll snap a picture and put it on the wall - door - window or wherever theres a hole. If its really worthy he ll put it in his weekly report. He ll know where the latest action is. He writes the fishing colum for the Courier thats in the same parking lot. Hes closed on Sunday tho. Tell him the hook sent you.
