was hanging at wally world fishing isle and met a guy who said he herd that the res. had reopened the camp ground and are stocking the c/g. said it might even be safe to camp there now MAYBE. any body know any thing more about that. when i was a kid we went every summer and it was the best. last time there we ran in to a drunk Indian on the res on the way to c/g and i mean it was a nasty head-on accident. no injury's. i had never seen my dad look scared before that day. the res cop said we should leave and never come back. so thats what we did. any info would be appreciated.

Fish On...Where is this exactly and do you feel this is just for Kern fishing updates or anywhere. We fish a few lakes loyally up here above Fresno but its for trophy bass or just plain bass fishing. And yes, the lakes do have some big ole trout but usually only bass fish our two lakes we hang out at. Dont wanna post if no one would care about fishing up here this far.

KRL tule res is N/E of lake Success about 10 min drive. c/g is up the mountain . i am not the site mod here so this is just my 2 cents. you asked if this site is Kern valley area only and i would say in most part yes. this sites sponsors pay this site for ad space to bring business there way in Kern valley. i was just asking if anybody new any info on what i herd 2nd hand. i was not saying the grass is greener over there but just need info . for me i love to hear fishing reports from all over cali. so when my lotto numbers Finlay hit i can hit all big bass lakes every where. as for bass in nor cal lakes i think you would have more responses from a site in that area. and if you are posting on a site for nor cal bass please PM me there Addy so i can check it out. the PM i sent covers nor cal but most activity is from so cal. again I'm not the mod here (mike is the man) so post what ever you want and if the mod has a problem I'm sure he will say something. i and I'm sure i speak for all of us. we love your reports and pics .

We used to get fishing reports from all over, even Mexico, Alaska and deep sea trips. Willy lets us know what's going on in his area. Our readers enjoy hearing about other fishing areas so we don't push the local only issue.
The only time we start chaffing is when some try to skirt the policy for promotion & profit through our readership and at our expense. And they have tried all kinds of creative ways to do so and then claim we violated their freedom of speech. Other sponsored boards, suppliers & non-contributing businesses (even local) keep pushing the envelope all the time. We are pretty liberal on our boards and we usually know when something just isn't what it appears or is cleverly cloaked.
This new board permits easy editing but we try to avoid editing anyone, like the plague. We think editing is far, far worse than just deleting the post. Unfortunately, sometimes the good goes out with the bad but we try to remain consistent and fair. If you have a really long report, create it with your favorite program, save it, then cut and paste it into your post. That way if a post disappears, for any reason, you can edit and re-post yourself. This board is data base driven and things have been known to glitch on occasion.
You (and any other board member) post your fishing reports and, like Fish On posted, if there's a problem we'll let you know. Thank you all for participating here. Mike

BUT all you fisherman/women, i sure miss the reports, cant get back up till Thanksgiving so let's hear the reports and would love to see some pics. Who knows, my 15yr old is determined to be an architect and build me and my husband Mark's dream home on the river...we'll see...haha. I can dream right?
