CDFW Emergency Fishery Closure Evaluation Process Adopted; Careful Angling Can Help Prevent Closures

I'm sure the Upper Kern River will be closed soon to protect the few fertile trout still left below Johnsondale Bridge. The CDFW are now only planting STERILE 1/4 lb trout and that means about 8" if that and I'm sure that the river temps are now to hot to plant near Kernville.
