Quail hunting

Anybody go quail hunting up inthe valley? Saw a lot of birds during deer season and wondered if anyone did any good?

The few people that I talked to said they saw birds everywhere 2 weeks. Couldnt find them for the opener. THey jumped on covey late in the day
It was also the duck opener.

I didn't have any luck with deer. One more weekend left. It was way too hot. I was up at 10,500 and it was 92 degrees. Saw one little buck and that was it. Not much water. We need some weather. It doesn't look like that will happen this year. I will be going quail hunting soon. The good thing about it is the dog can always find the birds, Tha bad thing is I have to hit em.
