I was in Eastern Sierras for the Opener and I was shocked at the water levels, Very low. With the early spring weather I expects that creeks to be high but there must be a light snow pack in the higher elevations. The light snow pack will obviously impact the Kern.

I jsut checked at the flow was around 500 cfs. That is low for this time of year, but it makes for some nice fishing.
