River water flow rate

Postby Hawkeye » Mon Jul 28, 2008 9:05 am

I've been watching the flow rate at Kernville over the last few weeks. We're making our annual trek to Rivernook this Thursday the 31st. At the rate she's dropping will there be any water left by the week end? Whats the fishin' been like? Haven't seen any fresh reports in a while. Come on Guys & Girls, lets get this forum up to what it used to be. Get your posts out here so us flatlanders can see what the good life's really like.

For those who don't know the site for river & weather data is: http://www.kernvalley.com/news/weather.htm#today

We just spent the weekend at Fairview and did good. It was really busy around us and we had to work and move around to hook a few. They were good eating anyway. We heard from some locals that said the weekends have been crowded and lots of people are hear for the first time ever. They think its because of high gas prices that Angelenos are coming there and not further out. Water is down but pools are still there and we work those more We dont like fast water anyway. Hamburgers at McNaly was the best like always
