Yep, it's for real. I sent out links to local Chambers and other organizations to get input and bottom line is there is nothing we can do and no one to talk to about it. This goes back to the lack of DFG to provide an impact study on the issue back in 2006. It was extended but they still haven't filed the study. The two groups that sued, under a court order to come to some kind of arrangement, met with DFG to hash out an agreement while the study is being completed. The agreement was codified by the Sacramento Judge last Friday (supposed to be this past Monday according to news articles.) The description of what applies and where is vague to say the least. Initially, it looks like Lake Isabella will be spared. However, on CBS and ABC news sites their description suggests that we will be one of the locations that will not be stocked. There is supposed to be a release of all locations in the state that will be affected sometime this week. We won't know anything for sure till that is released. I will post when we know something concrete.
