Most of the fishermen I observed at the Bridge/Park didn't seem to be too concerned about what the limit of fish is

Only concerned about getting caught, I saw a couple of guys leave and come back for another 5 fish. You would think that someplace right in the middle of town would get checked at least once in a while. We C&R'd all of our trout and I heard some people across the river from me talking about how they couldn't understand why I would turn my fish lose.

Gary - I saw several people with 10-fish stringers strolling around - they didn't stop at 5.
Probably took the 10 back to freeze(or give to their girlfriend's cat) and returned.
I guess some of the people catch 50 trout in a day and 'farm' many of them
It would seem that the DFG Hatchery being shut down perhaps the employees could hang out during the day and 'regulate'. Maybe they were sent home since nothing to do at the hatchery
