Went and fished the upper Kern last saturday. It was a perfect day of fishing, well worth the three hours it took to get there and three hours home for eight hours of fishing! We fished from the power plant all the way up to Fairview. Fishing was good pretty much all day. Used salmon eggs all day. It's hard to through the lure when your buddy next to you is pulling them in left and right on eggs. The water was pretty low at fairview (still fishable).
Next trip I'll try to get some photos (put the word in for a water proof camera for Fathers day).
